Al-khaleej Bank was inaugurated on the 7th of February 2017 in Khartoum the capital of Sudan. The inauguration took place at the presidential hall of the “Friendship Hall” in the presence of a number of Emirati businessmen, many ambassadors of various countries in addition to investors and economists from the Gulf Region and other Arab countries. The bank is mainly based on the principle of utilizing the full potential of the Arab economy and Islamic investments. Hence strengthening economic relations between Arab countries so as to become a gateway to economic integration between them. The bank also aims to consolidate the correct economic concept of financial investment, by focusing on financing development projects, especially in the agricultural, livestock and industrial related areas therefore achieving development goals in Sudan. The bank, which is located in the Republic of Sudan, targets worldwide investors, with a special focus on investors from The Gulf region who are seeking to invest in Sudan, in addition to Sudanese companies in partnership with global companies and Gulf counterparts. The bank adopts the principles of speed, accuracy and ease in procedures, while continuously keeping up to date with the latest electronic banking services and solutions, to contribute to the expansion of financing services, in particular enterprise financing and microfinance, which encourages production and leads to a greater economic reform.
